Welcome to "Learning About the World's Religions!" I am offering this site as a service to people seeking answers to questions they have always had about the religions of the world.
As a former Adjunct Instructor of Religion at the University of Georgia and a current Theology teacher at a private school, I have heard a spectrum of questions students have expressed over the years, from, "Why do Hindus have that red dot over their heads," to, "Is it REALLY lucky to rub the belly of the Buddha?" and I know that there are hundreds, if not thousands more out there. I love the questions, for when I have to find the answers, I learn too.
Please post a question you have always had about religion. I cannot promise I will know the answer, but I can promise I will do everything I can to find it, and cite my sources so that you can read further and learn more.
